Hi ladies! It's been six months, here's an update (pics)
Hello ladies, It's been forever since I have been on here. I have been a single mommy since Stajah was five weeks old (Hubby's deployment) and boy, I give props to other single mommy! Not only is my hubby out to sea, but I am working super hard because I am up for a HUGE promotion as Internal Audit Manager in Jan 2011. The great news is, we have about 65 days until he comes home!!!
So onto my lil lady update. Ever since she had her hernias repaired, my daughter changed dramatically. It was like I brought a different baby home from surgery. She is so great smiles all the time, and hardly ever cries. Mainly just when she is hungry. The other time, every day when I pick her up at daycare, she wants mommy immediately. LOL. She isn't sleeping well. She has never slept through the night yet, I know they usually are by six months, but she still gets up 4 times a night between 8pm-5am. So that has been tuff, but we have tried many many many techniques to get her to sleep. I think it's mostly because she is still a grazer when she eats, so she wants to eat every 2-3 hours. She also doesnt' sleep during the day either. For example, today she was at daycare for 10 hours, and took one nap from 745-830....and that's it. She just went to bed at 8pm. She also is still a very skimpy eater, and because of that the dr doesn't want me giving her anything but formula (I stopped breastfeed/pumping, Sept. 30th) because she needs the formula, and if we put cereal or something in it or replace it, she will lose out on some nutrient that she needs. Plus, there are many studies related to early feeding and obesity and I don't want to add anything to her that would put her through that struggle. But with all that said, I wouldn't trade her in for anything, not even a full nights sleep.
LOL.
As far as size, she is 15 pounds and 8 oz...and 26 inches long...
Well below is my beautiful girl....

Above is her Anne Geddies Tiger Outfit (taken last week)

She's gorgeous. And don't feel bad about the sleep thing... Tristan still doesn't sleep through the night. At this point, we are as close as we're going to get. My Pedi doesn't seem worried about it and my mother says it's payback. My sister didn't sleep through the night until she was FOUR! ugh. I do have memories of her yelling "Mom" in the middle of the night (we shared a bed).
