A 9 month old for christmas?  I know she will never remember it, but I will feel bad only getting her a few things.  When my siblings and I were little we got TONS of presents for christmas, but my parents have money, I don't. lol.  So what are you/did you get your baby's for their first christmas??

For their first Christmas (also at 9 months old) my twins got the LeapFrog Music table and they still play with it at 18 months old: http://www.amazon.com/LeapFrog-Learn-Groove-Musical-Table/dp/B000ETRENI
And since they were already pulling up and trying to walk, we got : http://www.amazon.com/Playskool-Step-Start-Walk-Ride/dp/B00004T2WP/ref=pd_sim_t_6

I went to walmart and put stuff on layaway. You can get her dvd's and stuff she'll be able to keep throughout her childhood. I'm sure the rest of your family will spoil her!
Next year will be much more exciting for all of you, I think . I would get her a nice table and chairs set then. Believe me when I say that is the best thing to have in your house. You can put it together the night before and put a bow on it, near the tree. I always plan ahead (p.s, get wood, not that tacky plastic, it will look nicer in your house)

I bought Tyler the "Your Baby Can Read" program, some Blues Clues and other educational videos. I bought clothes (boring I know), I purchased him a Jumparoo, some blocks, a really cool push toy (so he had things to push around while learning to walk). Fisher price makes really cool push toys for babies learning or in the early stages of walking. I bought a wagon so I can pull him in it (that was fun) and some little teething toys, stuff he could bite on during that painful stage. It was his 2nd Christmas that was so much fun because I was able to buy Power wheels, etc..

My "First Purse" at Target. It's for infant girls. Really cute! They also have baby dolls for infant girls there. Maybe a pair of cool new walking shoes since it won't be anytime and you'll be watching her take her first steps!

Hi again,
Look at Pottery Barn "Anywhere" chairs. They come in  different aptterns that can be embroidered with the name. They have a very small version. My little cousins have these and they are soooooo cute.  Probably cost about $80-90 but can be the one "big" gift if thats what you are looking for

I also bought the "your baby can read" but I bought it from Best Buy in the as seen on TV section and got it for only $100. that is a lot cheaper than the website.
My kids are 2 and 4 and like it. My 4 year old asks if they can watch it. My 2 year old seems to notice only the words Taco and Pizza. That could be that he is a 2 year old boy and only wants to eat tacos and pizza.

LOL at the pizza and tacos.  I was also looking the monkey see monkey do videos, they are similar to your baby can read.  I always see them for cheap on craigslist
