Question about ovulation soon after pregnancy

I stopped breastfeeding at 2 months and got my first post partum period around 11 weeks after giving birth. My periods before were always super regular coming every 29 days. I never had any break through bleeding in between periods. I always ovulated between the 12-16th days. Well my 2nd period came like normal on the 29th day but around the 15th day of my cycle I started spotting.  It only lasted a couple of days and now it has stopped. The only time I have ever gotten spotting like that in between my cycles is when I'm pregnant but I'm 95% sure I'm not pregnant. Is it normal to have spotting during ovulation time soon after giving birth, or does that have nothing to do with it?

My periods have been odd since amber was born.  They have been much lighter and I have had break through bleeding.  I know that you can have a crampy feeling the day of ovulation but I don't know about the spotting.
