Have any one you done IVF and used Gonal F???

Have any one you done IVF and used Gonal F??? Side effects? Did you get pregnant the first time? Multiple tries? IUI first the IVF?? Any help and or suggestions are welcome.

I had to ahve 3 IUI's...I also used a trigger shot and I cannot remember what the name of it was...but the 3rd time it worked! I think I started with clomid and then the trigger shots...hope that helps!

I have used gonal f for about 6 cycles.  I got pregnant on it once, but I have a repeat loss problem.  I am using it for IVF after the beginning of the year (have multiple boxes of it in my fridge).

As for side effects -- none really.  Of all the things you can use to superovulate, the side effects are the mildest.  The only thing you might notice is a heavy, sometimes achey feeling in your ovaries.

I used gonal F as part of my med protocol with IVF/ICSI.    The only real side effects of the meds combined was that I was moody and felt pregnant (before I was actually pregnant because it mimics pregnancy symptoms).  

IVF worked for us both times we did it.   First time I ended up with twins.  Second time with a singleton.
