Yolk sac, no fetal pole??

I too was given a very early ultrasound that did not seem good.  I should have been 6 weeks and I only measured 4 weeks and a few days.  I didn't even have a yolk sac.  They assured me that maybe my dates were off and not to get upset but I knew when I had intercourse and it would have to have been magic sperm to live that long.

My pregnancy prior was ectopic so I prepared for another miscarriage.  I had to wait 10 days and totally detatched myself from the pregnancy assuming it was already over.  Long story short I now have an almost 4 month old and that unnecessary anxiety is now behind us.

With an ultrasound this early everyday can make a difference.  I agree with the previous poster to not get another ultrasound until you are 8 weeks plus.  Best of luck and I hope you are able to stop worrying!!

My doctors office will not even see a person until after 7 weeks just for this reason. So, hopefully, it's just too soon.

Best wishes,
Kina
