Wow 35 weeks!

I can't believe I am already 35 weeks.  This pregancy has been easier since I got through the bleeding and previa.  I am still 1lb less than I was when I got pregnant but at the last ultrasound the baby was measuring ahead.  I went through major nesting last week and cleaned my whole house top to bottom and got all of my bags packed.  My son is getting really excited (he is 3 1/2) and we are still debating names.

It dawned on me yesterday that my son was born at 38weeks so that means in less than 3 weeks I may be holding Peanut.  If not, my C/S is scheduled for 11/1.  So I am seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.  I am getting sad that we are tying my tubes after this one b/c I think it may be another boy and would love to have a girl, but 2 is all we can finacially handle and they don't recommend any more pregnancies for me.  I know the Lord has given me what He knows I need to have so I can't wait to find out.

Good luck to all of you and can't wait to post new pics.

I love getting to the end of pregnancy. I stopped after my 11 year old and never thought I would get another one. Then when I had Hayvann I said yep DONE. Guess there was other plans for me lol. Once these twins are born I will be having my tubes tied for sure though. I hope 3 weeks is the magic number for you!!! Good luck and enjoy these last few weeks.

Well Jackie, we're close to the same due date. Mine is November 8th. But I'd settle for sooner.

I also plan to get my tubes tied. I assume since you're having a c-section that you'll get your tubes tied at the time of delivery? I'm not sure how it will work for me if I can have it naturally. I also HOPE to go without an epidural. I'll have to ask my doctor Friday.

Anyways, best wishes to you!

From my OB nursing days this is what they did with tying tubes.  They do it during a C/S, if you have an epidural from a vaginal delivery they usually leave it in and redose it and do the tubal the next day, if you don't have an epidural they usually do general anesthesia.  If you are breastfeeding that is sometimes an issue.  So, I would recommend an epidural if you want one and it will make doing a tubal easier.

Your C/S is the day before my due date!

We've been cleaning our house like crazy too. My husband and I are totally "nesting", which he found kind of funny.

That is cool. I am continuing to nest and today cleaned the front porch, washed all of my son's outdoor toys and weeded the flower bed.  Good luck with your upcoming delivery.
