Redness/darkness on backside???
This morning my husband noticed that the backside of my upper thighs and my butt (like the area that would be covered if you were sitting in a chair) is all dark, almost red. It doesn't hurt or anything. Tonight I noticed it is still the same.
Anyone else had this or have a clue what is causing it?
I do work at least 9 hours a day at a desk job, but have never noticed this before.
Thanks in advance,
Kina

Hey I see no one has replied to this. I am not sure if I have an answer for you but hopefully someone can answer this for you.
I have read my pregnancy book that some womens skin color does change during pregnancy. Maybe the skin is changing there because you are always sitting and that skin does not get enough air. I have no idea just something that I figured Id say.
And oddly I have seen skin that color before on upper thighs and butt when I was overweight before I had my surgery and I thought that was so horrible cause Id hate to wear shorts cause you could the redness and darkness on my upper thighs if wearing them. I think its due to covering it up all the time and not getting any air to the skin. But I am not a dr. either. I would not worry about it if its making you nervous.
