I went to my PCM on Tuesday and had my pregnancy confirmed! So I'm officially hear. Anything I need to know or do nutrition wise before my first OB appointment? It isn't until October 21st, so I just want to make sure I'm doing the right things between now and then. I haven't had any morning sickness yet, so as of now I can eat pretty much anything (not sugar though...lol). I'm not overly hungry, but hungry enough to where it feels like I'm eating more than I was before pregnancy.

Give me the 411 ladies!

Congrats! How exciting! You should be eating at least 1500 to 1800 calories a day and getting 100 grams of carbs per day. Also make sure you start taking a prenatal rather than your regular multi. Continue to get lots of protein as well. I hope all goes well! Keep us posted.

Congrats!! :) As for the not eating thing...I was with you there until about 3 weeks ago and now I want to eat EVERYTHING in site...including sugar!! I limit myslef, but I feel like I'm eating around the clock nonstop! I'm probably not the best example, but I take my prenatal everyday and other than that...its life as normal. Hopefully, if you get hit with the morning sickness bug, it's not bad. I was fortunate to not have had any, but from what I hear on here...everyone is different! Best of luck throughout your pregnancy and welcome to board!! :)
