UTI...rtabs???

I ahve a horrible urinary tract infection..the 1st one I have ever had.  I thought it was my kidney stone at 1st, but my tract is burning and my urine test came back positive...I am on keflex, but has anyone used cranberry tabs while pregnant?  I know I can grink cranberry juice, but what about AZO cranberry??  Thanks, Monica

 Wish I had an answer for you.  Hope you feel better soon.  I had a UTI back in July and had to do 2 rounds of antibiotics.  It was PAINFUL.

Azo cranberry is essentially just cranberry extract and vitamins, so it shouldn't be a problem, but that's better as a preventative. You can also take Azo standard (or max. strength) which is Phenazopyridine Hydrochloride (a.k.a. Pyridium) and is a class B drug (same class as prenatal vitamins and acetominophen) - that will actually provide relief from the pain.

I forgot to add - if you take the regular Azo, it will turn your pee orange. Just a warning so you don't get alarmed. :P
