AF came yesterday (2 days early) AND on my wedding anniversary! NICE GIFT!!!  So no preggos this time!!

Did find something interesting.  I found a copy of my previous lap. surgery for endometriosis (I have had 3) and found something in the report that I didn't realize and that I have NOT been treated for.

It said that I had multiple follicular cysts on both ovaries (cystotomies done) that there was one corpu****eum cyst left undisturbed. This was done in 2006, before gastric bypass.

So does this mean I have PCOS??? And I must have been ovulating still.  Do you all think that I need to have MD treat me for this?? Should I have been treated for this a long time ago?? Also, I heard that PCOS gets better after wt loss, is this true?? Any imput would be helpful.

Thanks for praying, I have until Dec. 2, to get pregnant, then off to fertility dr!!!!

I have PCOS. The only meds I was put on for it was birth control.  I got pregnant in 1993.  We tried for years after that.  No luck.  I have ryn done in 2004.  Three years later, I got a big surprise.  I turned up pregnant and we were not trying at all.  Our daughter was 13 at the time.  After he was born in 07, I got pregnant again and had another boy in 2009, then surprise!!  I just had another boy three months ago.  We never tried to get pregnant, it just happened.  Now I am taking birth control so I won't get a surprise again.  Don't get me wrong, I love my babies and would not trade them for the world. But I can't allow myself to get pregnant again because the doctor told me that next time I have a HUGE chance of dying and so does the baby because of a very thin lining .  It makes me sad but I know I don't want to leave my babies motherless.  I will be praying for you.  Plus, all my babies have been small.  The biggest baby I had was my daughter and she was 6.6  and all three boys were aright around 5.4 and 17 inches long.

I would ask your GYN about what the results say. I know I was treated with the pill for my PCOS and then after WLS I was better. I was able to get pregnant twice (the first resulted in a miscarriage due to what I believe to be bad thyroid levels) really easily. So for me, it did get better after WLS. Good luck!
