New to the boards...

Never thought I would be posting on this board. 

I am two years out (or will be on Oct 16) from RNY.  I have lost all my excess wt and have been at goal for at least 9 months.  So, this is my first cycle at TTC baby #2.  (Baby #1 was born in 2004 with the help of Clomid for anovulation). 

Anyone have a baby with the help of clomid (or other drugs) pre weight loss and then lose weight and get preggo with no help?  I'm turning 35 in December and would like to get pregnant quickly (I know who doesn't, right?)....but my daughter is going to be 7 in April and I don't want to put too much more distance between them...

This is my second cycle off of the bcp....and the first cycle was a perfect 29 days....who knew I would ever have a normal cycle....

I just wanted to wish you goodluck! I hope you get a BFP soon! I bet your daughter is gonna be thrilled with a baby brother or sister.

I think there are several women here who took clomid and had healthy pregnancies.  Hopefully some will chime and give you their info.

I tool clomid and was on injectables along with IUI for 3 cycles when I finally got pregnant with my daughter, who was also born in 2004. I just found out in july I was pregnant without any help and this was totaaly unplanned!! Plus my husband had cancer and they never thought he would give me a child WITH the help, let along without it!! So I am living proof!! Good luck!

And I forgot to mention..my daughters birthday is april also..4-14-04!! I just turned 38 a week ago!

No advise just wanted to say GOOD LUCK!!

I never TTC pre-op so I can't help with that. I can say I went off the pill and the first month I could get preggers I did. Unfortunantly I loss that one but after waiting to get my throid regulated I got pregnant the first month I could. I am now 38 weeks along and begging to get the kid out. I will say I had bad PCOS before surgery and once I was off the pill, I was dead on at 28 or 29 days. Oh and I got pregnant with this one a week after my two year mark.
