Sage is 5 months old!! Pics!

My little baby girl is not so little anymore!!  She amazes me everyday!  I cannot believe almost half a year has passed since she has been in our lives.  She is an absolutely excellent baby!  Makes me want to have 10 more.  She sleeps from around 9:30 to 9 am without any interruptions.  She weighs 15lbs and is 24 inches long, her huge noggin is still in the 90th percentile!  The hole in her heart is completely closed, we are officially done with the cardiologist.  She is also off her apnea monitor completely.  At her 4 month dr's appt we did discover an umbilical hernia which I suspected for a while.  Dr said it should close over time and will prob not need surgical intervention. 

As some of you know she was affected by the similac recall.  She was vomiting and had diarrhea for two weeks.  No one knew what was wrong until the recall occurred.  We had 10 jars of formula, all but 3 we recalled.  Also about a month ago I was making a bottle and I legit saw a bug crawling.  I chucked that can and thought it just came from the kitchen, now I am thinking it could have been from the recall.  She lost 5 ounces but stayed a trooper and is now getting better, but still is spitting up a lot.

She is on her way to crawling.  She gets herself up on her hands and knees then cant figure it out from there quite yet.  She is rolling like a pro and sitting unassisted for a good period of time.  She is eating barley cereal, pears and sweet taters (all of which mommy makes).  She's stopped being a crank pot when daddy watches her and LOVES being around him now, but she's still mommys little clinger :).  I started 2 businesses, and a third by the end of this month, selling premier jewelry, selling childrens tutus and headbands and starting up being an associate for Viridian energy.  So more money is finally coming in! 

DH and I are going to be TTC around december or janurary.  I am nervous to add another little one to the mix but Sage is such a great baby I am hoping it will be easier than I think.  I want my kids close in age so they can grow up with someone in their age bracket.

She sure is a cutie!! Glad to hear she's better after the similac thing....that can be scary!

 Hey, glad to see the Sage update, I haven't been on here but every blue moon, being a single mom right now is beyond exhausting, and this is last on my list right now, believe it or not.  I did see you said Sage was affected by Similac recall.  Did they do anything for her?  The reason I ask is Stajah has had diaherra poop has been nothing but liquid for weeks.  We went to Urgent care couple days before the recall but they just said it would go away she probably had a virus.  Just wanted to see if they did anything for her.   Thanks in advance.  Stacey

They wanted me to give her pedialyte between feedings.  Her diareahha is getting better but she  is still spitting up, not bas bad as before but she never ever spits up normally.  They said if it gets worse come back, and we switched to enfamil which she seems to be doing well with.  Hope Stajah is doing better!!
