How long have you been under fertility treatment?

I am just curious to know how long some of you have been under fertility treatment?
How many rounds of treatments did your dr have you under?
Did you switch doctors?
How old were you when you started? and how old were you when you gave birth?
Do you have PCOS?

I have been under treatment for over a year.  I can't tell you how many rounds....if I were to guess I would say 7 maybe more or maybe less.  I didn't switch docs.  I was 30 when I started, I am now 32 and still no baby, and yes I have the dreaded disease!!!  Good Luck on your journey.

I have been under treatment since February 2008.  I don't know...maybe 11 IUIs now?  I am doing IVF after the beginning of the year.  I have been pregnant 4 times (2 without treatment, 2 with), but always have repeat early pregnancy loss.

I have been put on metformin to combat the losses, not for PCOS or insulin resistance.  There is nothing that has ever been diagnosed as wrong with me.  My husband has lowish morph, but that is it.  I haven't gotten pregnant again since being on metformin, so I am not sure if it will help with the loss or not.

I will be 36 in November.

We tried for 14 years to have a second baby. It took 4 years to get pregnant with our daughter. She is now 19. I was about age 35 when we found a great doctor and did more than just try on our own. We did 6 IUI's with no success. No PCOS, just unexplained infertility. I am 43 now. We have given up and enjoy our one blessing with hopes for lots of grandkids one day.
