I finally know "Little One's" gender!!!
Well...I guess I am going to have to give-in and learn how to braid hair, lol, I'm going to be having a girl!!!
However, I have never lived with another female, only had male pets, and most of my friends growing-up were male...so needless to say, I'm a little terrified of having a baby girl...but the more I think about it the more excited I am becoming!! I can't wait to meet my daughter!!
Plus, it seems like daughters are often a little more family oriented...and many of the people I work with tell me their adult daughters are their best friends...I hope I am that lucky!!

I had a lot of anxiety when I found out my twins were both girls. I'm the least girly girl type person and all my close friends are guys. I've never had a super close girlfriend like so many other women have... it's just not the kind of person I am.
But I wouldn't change my girls for anything. They're AMAZING. Compared to my friends little boys, they're so sweet, loving and intelligent. (not that little boys aren't smart, but *damn* little girls figure things out fast). I will warn you- both my little girls have daddy wrapped around their tiny fingers. I thought DH would bond better with a little boy, but the connection between daddy and his daughters is incredible! Be prepared to be jealous (in a good way) when you see how much little girls LOVE their daddy's.
lol
Grats on your little lady! You're gonna be an awesome mom!

Gina....REALLY??!! SO happy for you, I know thats what you wanted! Awesome for you!
Personally, I think girls are easier because you can just think back on your own childhood, and all the things you could've/should've/wanted to do, and make those things a reality for your little princess. I had a really ugly bedroom (brown carpet & yellow walls, nothing girly whatsoever) so my daughters room I was sure to make it pretty. Nothing like taking another stroll down the Barbie aisle! I am hoping for a girl again :)

Thanks Chelle, girlfriend it took me sitting in the Sonographer's chair for atleast 2 hours (she was presistant and stated I'm not letting you leave until we have a 100%). My little mama was being difficult. At first she had her butt against the wall of my stomach blocking her private parts. After some poking by the sonographer she moved. Then it was the Cord and that cord would not budge. It was laying right between her legs and we couldn't tell. She ended up letting me walk around and my husband brought me some chicken nuggets from mcdonalds, so after I ate that and sat back in her chair she finally cooperated. She was spread eagle and the cord had moved. Needless to say after 2 hours and 4 chicken nuggets she showed us the goods :)..LOL..

LOL! You sound just like me! When I found out I was having a girl, my first thought was "Oh ****!!!" Hahhaa! I'm totally excited in every way, but oh my god, I have no idea how to fix hair and all that stuff! My poor daughter is going to have crooked ponytails her whole life. Ha ha ha!
Congratulations!!!!
Congratulations!!!!
