Gift ideas

Hello Ladies,

I was just looking for some gift ideas for my best friend who is throwing me a baby shower in a couple weeks?

I look forward to seeing these answers also.  I am pondering the same thing as my family shower is Oct 31st and my friend shower is November 6th.  I am wondering the same thing :)

I gave my very close friends who threw a shower gift certificates for a mani-pedi and a picture frame with two slots, in one I put a picture of us together and the other one was left open for a baby picture.
For some family friends that also threw a shower in another city, I gave gift certificates for Bath and Body Works.

 Hijack.. I think we both need to update our tickers!  LOL

Mmm is this something new? I have thrown 3 showers and no one has got me anything?! *sniffle*
Maybe a nice house plant, bottle of wine, or the Bathy & Bodyworks gc sounds nice too.

This was a new one on me too. Seems a little crazy to give someone a gift for throwing you a party where you are getting gifts....what do I know????

Anyway, there are two ladies throwing my shower this Saturday and I got them gifts certificates to a local shop, and a box of chocolates each--oh, and I threw in a cute note pad with a magnet on it that you stick on the fridge. Best I can do. I'm not very thoughtful on this kind of stuff.
