Question for those using a nightly shot of insulin.
My faasting sugars were still a bit wonky so my doc put me on nightly insulin.
So, how long before you saw results? My doc put me on 4us at night of Humulin and I took my first dose last night and got a110. Should it have been lower or should I wait for my body to build up a store of it? Not sure how this works or if I should call my doc.

I was put on 10units of the same insulin about a month ago..very early but my sugars were about 98ish...I found that if I ate dinner around 6 and then had a snack before bed like peanut butter and crackers..and my insulin at bedtime, my BS in the morning would be around 70-80. BUT if I eat too late and have no snack, my BS is around 90ish. Be sure you have that snack..it has to be a carba dn protein. Good luck!
