Hey girls!  We're expecting!  My OB has been good about checking my levels and checking for any deficiencies but so far everything looks good!  I have an appointment on Tuesday and I believe she'll do an ultrasound then.  I'm feeling the symptoms so much worse than with any of my other pregnancies.  Did anyone else notice this with their post op pregnancies as opposed to any pregnancies before your surgery?

Congrats! I imagine that all the lost weighy, plus our already being familiar with pregnancy, makes it easier to feel the symptoms for a 2nd pregnancy.

Grats!
I was 9 months out from VSG when I found out  I was pregnant with a surprise #3 (we also have 18 month old twins).
Morning sickness was WAY worse this time around. I really feel like my tiny tummy just was ultrasensitve and made my syptoms worse.

Congratulations, so excited for you. I was so happy to see your post because I just got sleeved 9/13, and I was wondering if 6 months from now, I might be able to start trying to get pregnant?

I don't have that much time left to conceive (im 39) and i want a baby SO BAD, but i don't want to endanger the baby by trying too soon. The docs say wait 18 months out before getting pregnant. Is that absolutely necessary? clearly not, since you are preggers!

Any advice on this topic would be MUCH appreciated. I plan to work fast and hard to lose weight with this sleeve ASAP. What do people on this board think is the earliest a VSGer can responsibly try to conceive?

thanks!
