I forgot..the only good thing is after several different formulas she ended up on prescription neocate and it was totally covered under my ind=surance so I never payed a dime!! It also really helped her. We tried nutramigen, almentum..the did not work..neocate was the answer!

My daughter was on Zantac, and my son was on Prevacid. Zantac started working faster than Prevacid, so you not notice a huge difference until 24-48 hours. I found with both of my kids, they had to be on it until 8-10 months. Usually, at that point, they were eating REALLY well on the baby food/table food at that point that they didn't have the acid problems. If there is very much spit up with bottles/food at all, then you might want to wait closer to the 10 month mark because if you take him off of it too early, they you have to wait the 24-48 hours for it kick back in again!
You will find it makes an incredible difference!!! He will become a much happier baby!

Eva is 6 mth old and we may have reflux too. She spits up SO much. We had colic through about 3 mths old. So we had prescription drops that worked good. What's your prescription? So good to know it subsides. R u breastfeeding 100%?
