Sixteen weeks is very early for a gender scan.  Twenty weeks would be ideal.  But there are websites where you can post your u/s pics and people will analyze them to say what they think it is.  One that I know of is ingender.

Your ultrasound looks like mine does and mine is a little girl.  Ive had 6 ultrasounds total since they had me going to high risk because my husband had clef lip and to my regular OBGYN and she is still a girl   My gender ultrasound was at 18 weeks.  BUt I would make your reg OBGYN do it again since it was a rushed/interuptted ultrasound.

Are you going to have another one done? The reason I ask is with my second son i was told girl. Ummm he is very much boy. With my 3rd son the doc said BOY I said prove it! He pushed up and down on my belly a little and you could see his "junk" moving it was a riot and he is more boy then the other two bots were put together!

So have him push- nothing swaying then I would say girl LOL

Stephanie, you know funny you mention that because the sonographer who diagnosed it as a girl was pushing down on my baby to move the baby to the position that was optimal for her for maximum viewing, but not sure if she was looking for movement. Great idea, I'll ask the next time I get a US for them to do that. Thanks sweetie :)
