So tell me.....how many of you......
There's def a bump there. I hear you on the hanging skin/rolls. Its sucks. if I hold my skin up my bump looks right... if not... it looks a little funky. Maternity pants smooth some of it out, but you should be counting your blessings if you don't need them yet. With my first i didn't *have* to wear them until like 7 months. Now I'm 2 weeks behind yah and I'm wearing the damn things. I popped early.
:) Just buy some shirts that say things like "baby on board" everyone will get the message! :)

OMG tell me about it!! I find myself constantly looking up baby bell pics of different types and body sizes...I'm only 16 weeks, but GOD I feel FAT!!! I took a pic yesterday and sent it to some friends and family and all I got was you look so cute!! What about pregnant lol??? My top roll is definitely defining my tummy though and I never even really had a predominant roll to begin with. I can say I am definitely happy though that I've only gained 3lbs (as of this am weigh in)! I think if I was gaining more I would definitely be depressed. Another ting I've noticed tho is the stretch marks! My tummy and my boobs are covered in them it seems...not dark, but lighter ones you can barely see...but I can see them and that's what matters! ahhhh the joys of pregnancy I must say!!
PS...how do you include a pic in your post??

I am 30 weeks & you can't tell that I'm pregnant at all unless I wear my spanx. I wear it for support & it squishes everything into a beautiful baby bump & holds it up high. Otherwise, my middle just looks a little thick. I really wanted a pretty bump to take some pregnancy pictures this time. I was huge last time time, but it was a twin pregnancy & I weighed like 225lbs. I thought I would "show" much sooner this time since it's my second pregnancy & I'm down to my goal weight, but no such luck : ( I notice you also had VSG & were able to breastfeed. I'm concerned about my ability to breastfeed because I have a really hard time getting enough fluids in, since surgery. About how much were you able to drink a day & be successful with breastfeeding?
Ok, so I was able to breastfeed, and I didn't feel like I had to keep drinking and drinking 24/7. Actually.. when I was pregnant with my daughter, I was drinking so much water that I flushed almost all the salt out of my body and my sodium blood level was DANGEROUSLY low. I had to start putting salt on everything and then I had to drink a bunch of gatorade. I was full on forcing water all day long.
You guys REALLY think it looks like a baby bump?? I'm shocked! my mom says it does.. but hey that's her job. My DH tells me I've never ever 'looked' pregnant.. UGH
