Has anyone else had this problem when you got pregnant that your choices in food so totally stinks? Like I have no appetite to want to eat anything.

But I force myself to eat and the things I eat are so bad for me but at the same time I can keep it down without puking. Its so horrible. I want some good good food and whenever I even make it and start to taste it...I instantly get sick.

Soooo horrible cause my taste buds are very very crappy right now and I cannot even stand the taste of Chicken and I used to eat chicken everyday. I am soo not getting a good amount of protein in my diet cause meat is just something I get sick on.

Strange but I am eating pudding, yogurt and lots of milk and cheese which is a good thing. I am so stumped on food choices it stinks. I constantly want to eat something freaking good LOL..but as that craving comes along...and I try it...uugghhh I get sick and think well I guess I did not really want that.

Pudding can be a very good thing! If you're eating it and it's staying down, try making the instant pudding with some protein powder mixed in. I, personally, like the SF FF Jello Chocolate fudge pudding. I use 1-2/3 cups of milk and 1-1/2ish scoops of vanilla protein powder! It makes about 4 - half cup servings and boosts the protein while tasting like cake batter! I would use more protein powder, but I tend to be able to taste the protein if I use too much!

What about peanut butter??? I've been having peanut butter on graham crackers lately and it's good!

Good luck!!

BTW...that's for the small box of pudding. If I use a big box, I use 2.5 cups of milk and 2.5 scoops of protein powder.

Peter Pan has a new whipped peanut butter that has 1/3 less sugar. Tastes great and good for RNY's. Yummmy!

I totally know what you mean about having no appetite. I force myself to east something every 2-3 hours and it's still hard to decide what I want to eat.

My go-to snacks are-
Almonds
Cheese and whole wheat crackers
Hummus and veggies or whole wheat pita
Peanut butter and jelly on whole wheat bread
Cream cheese and veggies
Greek yogurt with Granola and dried cherries

I try to avoid sugar free food items since my Midwife and OB say to limit artifical sweetners when pregnant.

Right...My nutritionist said the same thing to avoid sugar free things for now. And believe me I am avoiding them and loving to much chocolate LOL. But I really indulge on the chocolate pudding more than anything. I am also eating Peanut butter and jelly a lot. Thanks for the tips ladies!!

Yup... I hear ya. I had MAJOR food aversions in the beginning of my pregnancy. NOTHING sounded good, so I ate whatever sounded like I would be able to keep it down. So, I ate a lot of pudding, custard, refried beans, ice cream, popsicles, tomato soup, goldfish crackers, chocolate milk... I mean BAD choices. I STILL lost 7 pounds, even though I ate a bunch of crap.

It went away around 15 weeks, though. Now, I eat like a horse and have no aversions whatsoever.

I don't know what to eat  I'm diabetic so I'm not supposed to eat anything full of sugar but sugar free has artifical sweetners that I can't have I'm stumped and getting depressed.
Thanxs, Amy
