Tested this morning and....

I got a BFN which is drivin me crazy cause I am having pregnancy symptoms...my period is due today...how many days should I wait before I test again? 

I understand completely! I tested negative this morning and I am 4 days late!! It's frustrating because I am religiously on time...and now 4 days late? Never happens. It's driving me crazy, but I don't know what else I can do except wait.

 With my second child, I tested when I was 2 days overdue with my period and got a negative... 2 days later, still no period--still a negative.... so, I waited like 5 more days and, when I STILL hadn't gotten my period (9 days late at this point), I tested and got the faintest little line, but a positive nonetheless.... I think it takes longer for certain people to shed the pregnancy hormone in their urine than others. Don't give up hope... re-test in a few days if your period hasn't shown up.

I used the First response(not digital)

I got a BFP at 6 weeks. Never got one around my period. I always had to get a blood test to find out.

I'd give it 3-4 days and try again.  Good luck.

Have any of you ever gotten a false negative using the first response test?  If I am pregnant, my fertile days would of been 8/30-9/2 and we had sex on 8/30, 8/31, 9/1 then every other day for a week so that would make me not even 4 wks pregnant right?

Do you know when you might have ovulated? You might have a false positive if it hasn't been at least 11 days DPO. It takes the fertilized egg anywhere between 8-12 days to implant and then and only then does it give off the HCG hormone, which the tests detect. If the baby has not implanted then it might be false.

I don't know for sure when I ovulated, but the ovulation calendar says it should be September 1st. Did I test too early maybe or ovulate later than what the calendar said?
