Pampers with Dry Max
Ok..I am sure that everyone has heard all of the complaints about the new Pampers with Dry Max causing severe irritations. Apparently, it was investigated and reported on the news that the Dry Max was not causing the irritations.
Has anyone been using the new Pampers with Dry Max? If so, have you had any issues? I have been using the Baby Drys which don't have the Dry Max, but I am curious .
Thanks for your input...

I have used both baby drys and dry max. I haven't had any problems with either. Dry max's do seem to have a lot of absorbancy, but they should for the extra cost! I had some extra coupons for them, which is why I bought them. On a reg basis, I usually use the baby drys. I didn't have any issues when I used the dry max as far as irritations or rashes.

I got a sample in the mail and used one b/c DS was going to grandmas for an hour and I didn't want her to worry about cloth, by the time I got back Matty was bright red and had what looked like a burn covering anywhere that the drymax part touched him, it got redder though the day (even after I took him out of the diaper) and then that night it formed blisters which broke open and where sore and weepy for almost a week. Since we have never had that reaction in the past, and have never had one since (it was actually the reason I went cloth 100% of the time), I have to assume it was the diaper.
I think some babies do react badly too something in it, but obviously not all babies or there would have been a bigger outcry. I would just buy a small pack (or request a sample on their webpage!) and try it out, it seems that if baby is going to have an issue it happens fast so you would know by the time you change the first one if it was going to be an issue or not for you.

no problems here and they are ALL i use. i may occassionally find the baby dry but in this area all the stores have liquidated those already and just carry dry max. and anaya has severe sensitive skin (she broke out bad for about a week just from a change of jus****er) but yet we have not had not an issue with these. and she is SOAKED when she wakes up in the morning (no change from about 10pm to 5 or 6 am) and not a leak or a rash. we tried huggies one night (got a few in her diaper bag from daycare) and she soaked right through them overnight. needless to say i was not happy and have gone back to pampers. now if only target would make some cute pink or purple diapers by the time she gets into size 3 i will be a happy camper. i say size 3 because at that point i am done paying for pampers and switchin to the target brand...dont ask, im cooky. its also when i refuse to pay for dreft anymore, shes going to have to adjust to plain old tide, maybe ill get sensitive.
