Horrible thoughts and curious about them!!
Yeah, and that's the reason why we are finding out when the baby is born. I was afraid if I am having a girl that I would worry too much about what to do with it. Now, I will still worry but there will be nothing I can do about it once the baby is here. Altho... I have felt like this is a boy since week 6.
I shall now be know as Hagatha: Queen of the queens.
Baby 7-09
Xavier Elliott born 10-5-10
I was in the same boat. I was really hoping to have a girl. My sister has 4 children and they are all boys. We really wanted a girl. Everyone was telling us we needed to have a girl. I was pretty sure I was going to cry at the ultrasound if they told me it was a boy. And they did.
I didn't cry at the ultrasound. I called my sister and told her it was a boy and she thought I was joking. Then said aww. I almost cried then. I got a little swept up in the frenzy after that point - we were still trying to finish the nursery and had a ton to do - so I didn't have much time to stress out about it.
I think I started getting over it more once we started getting in all the cute boy clothes and registering for boys stuff. The boys baseball pajamas are adorable!
Anyways, I love my little man so much. I can't imagine being happier. I think you'll be fine, even though you're worried now. We still don't have any girls in the family, and to be quite honest, I've thought more lately about doubting wanting to have another child because it MIGHT be a girl. If I had another child I tell myself I'd want Kaleb to have a brother, since I see my nephews with each other. Funny how things change...
Good luck :)
