Stabbing paings

I am not sure why but the past 2 nights I have been waken up by this sharp stabbing pain! I was desperate last night and took gas-x strips. That made the pain go away. Now I am out of them and in pain again! So I decided to eat a small bowl of high fiber cereal, so far it seems to be a little better. Today I am going into the doctors and will of course ask them what it is I am experiencing, but until then I would love to know if anyone else has suffered from this? The pain starts right below my pouch and goes all the way down. On a good note the baby is moving around, I am hoping he is not effected. Is this true hunger pains or just really bad gas?

I remember having very similar pain. I think for me it was bad gas and round ligament pains. GasX worked the best for me. Congrats on your little one! Take care and I hope you have some relief soon

It sounds like the gas I had a week after my RNY. If the gas strips helped, then it probably was. The Dr will know for sure, though. Try and relax, good luck later!

The doctor says it is gas. Pretty scary though!
