We found out Yesterday...............................................
It's a GIRL!!!!
Yay!! I was wishing we were Team Pink but was unsure!! I cried, my husband comforted me and my mom just stared at our lil Butterbean-this is her 10th grandchild lol but the first time she got to meet the butterbean!
So we went to Babies R Us and registered as well as Target and we are planning on doing Wal-Mart too just for those friends and family that can't get to or can't afford Babies R Us. But my question is What is the ONE thing that you CAN NOT live without or could NOT live without and what's the one thing you wished you would have registered for?
We are just curious as this is our first child but I have lots of nieces and nephews, but its different when it's your child.
Thank you for all of your help and as it stands, we are having Hannah Grace on or around Feb 10, 2011. YAY

You are TOO lucky!!! Congrats!! I hope that I'm having a girl too. You asked the one thing I couldn't live without and that I wish I should have registered for. Hmmm..
1. Air Purifier (My son was stricken with so much allergies as a child and has asthma that's induced by allergies), but if you don't live around tons of trees and pollen nothing to worry about.
2. I should have registered for two car seats instead of 1 Car Seat and 1 base. Didn't realize that my husband when dropping Tyler off couldn't leave the car seat at the daycare, so when I picked him up the base was useless with no seat. (if there's two people working in the home with two different cars)
3. Bottles, bottles, bottles, you could never have enough (Dr Browns). If you take a baby to daycare they require at least 6-8 bottles all labeled and I found I never had enough between the ones at home and the ones I'd take to daycare daily. Unless you plan on washing out bottles everyday (which I hated) buy plenty to cover for two or three days of feeding. I usually do a mass sterlizing after a couple of days.
4. Wipes, wipes and more wipes...they seem so minimal, but you will go through a LOT. I wish I would have registered for a 3 month supply of them.
5. Swing - a baby swing let me have so much free time to do chores around the house. A MUST HAVE.
6. A visual baby monitor. This took off so much stress and the wireless receiver I could see my baby lying safely in bed when roaming about the house.
Good luck and have fun shopping via your registery!!

Congrats to you and your baby girl! So much to register for. I say choose pampers in every size and on each registry (you will never get too many) We had so many as gifst that I just had to buy pampers about a month ago and Jakob is almost 5 mos.
There is a little bouncer (for infants that they lay in) I wish I would have had one of them. The swing is nice though but I would do that next time.
Loved the boppy pillow for feeding and sitting up.
Also I'm glad someone told me to register for clothes in all sizes to 24 mos. that means that I still haven't had to buy clothes for him yet (that doesn't mean I haven't, I just can't stop myself
wish for duplicates if you are doing childcare outside the home, some things its better to have two than lug your whole house around every day/week. Thats all I can think of for now. Hope its helpful

336lbs 6/19/06 - 198 lbs - 6/19/10 138 lbs gone forever!!!
We have our miracle: Jakob Makhi born 4-15-10; 4 lbs. 10 oz. 22" long.
Congrats on team pink! We find out the gender of our bean on Monday.
I don't plan on registering for much... only what's necessary. We live in a tiny condo with limited storage, so I am afraid of having every square inch of my place covered in baby clutter. We'll probably register for:
Stroller
2 Car Seats
Swing/Bouncy Seat
High Chair
Play yard
Baby gates (we have stairs)
Diapers
Baby monitor
