Quick update on my pregnancy.
Had an appointment this past week. Due to a physical altercation with the in-laws, the fact that I've had WLS, frequent vomiting and dehydration and UTIs because of it, I have to start seeing a high risk pregnancy team in Pittsburgh, almost three hours away from where I am.
On a more positive note, we've decided on names!
Boy: Casimir Jack
Girl: Mischa Nadine
I have to wait until my first appointment in Pittsburgh to find out the sex of the baby, so that'll be neat.

Physical alercations w/in-laws? Geesh...I'm glad I have the screwy in-laws I have. They make annoy the daylights out of me sometimes (well...OK...not ALL of them do, but two of them)...but no arguments or physical altercations. Hope that is a one-time thing and not likely to happen again?!
Re the high risk dr...look at it as a good thing...that just means you'll get to see your little one more often. Hopefully you can find a way to get the liquids down so you don't get any more UTIs.
I like the names.

Yeah, they are insane. To make the story as short as possible (because I don't care who knows about it): They ignored their grandkids (my husband's kids from his first marriage) all summer - they're only here 6 months out of the year. His daughter left a message on their phone expressing that she'd like to see them before they left for Florida and that she was upset. My husband also left a message. His parents showed up at our house a few hours later, got in my husband's face - my husband punched his father. I pulled them apart and got hit by his father. I pushed him out of the house and his mother attacked me in the front yard.

Ooookkk....so they know your pregnant and still pull this? I could see that maybe the father punching you was an accident - possibly? - that you sort of got in the way of hi*****h? but hte mother attacking you? They'd never set foot in my house again. I hope the kids weren't there to witness all of this?

Yep, they definitely know I'm pregnant. While she was slamming the door into me, she kept saying, "I hope it dies."
They'll never be around me or this baby ever again. If my husband decides to be around them, he can do it by himself, but I think the relationship there is over, too.
His (my husband's) daughter was there and heard her grandfather say he didn't care that he didn't know anything about her. She was crying.

I saw the high-risk thing on FB...that's a bummer! On the plus side though, at least you can be confident that everything will be monitored very closely and you're getting the best care possible! That's certainly a good thing.
Love the names!
Omg gender determination time is so exciting! Good luck, lady!

I can't even fathom inlaws like that. So, I won't try.
I hope you can find some great music, books on CD, or good company for the 3 hours drives. That might be the most soothing thing.
I love your names. I don't know any children with those names (and I see kids for a living).
Take care of yourself!

I really like the names as well! I think they're adorable and rare. I'm in search of some rare names myself, but goodness sakes its HARD!!! :) I've still got plenty of time to think about it though. Sorry you have in laws like that. I think I would go insane with dealing with people like that, especially ones willing to take it to a physical level when an unborn child is a part of the equation. So, I was just wondering...are you going to Magee?? I'm asking because I was raised in the Pittsburgh area and I had my WLS at Magee. They are one of the best hospitals around and have an awesome staff! :)
Best of luck in your pregnancy and hopefully you don't have so much stress to deal with!
