Formula question.

Sage is on Similac Advanced.  She's been on it since I stopped BF'ing at 3 weeks.  She does fine with it.  We have WIC which is great for her formula.  Sometimes at the end of the month I need to buy a can or two until I get my next formula checks.  Has anyone mixed the name brand with the generic that says "compare to Similac advance"  or should I just buy the similac??

Thanks Karen

It is the same thing, sometimes even made by the same company but sold under diff brand names. Like the Costco brand diapers and EXACTLY the same as huggies. If your in doubt asj her peditrician.

Hmm Wic here does (or used to use) only Enfamil. Are you using the powder or concentrate?

I use the Target brand and we switched over from Enfamil premium lipil, she never skipped a beat with it. I compared the labels and asked the Dr he said it's all the same.

Good luck.

We asked the pediatrition about formula when we went and met him. He said as long as it's milk based use it. I would guess that means you could mix formulas too.
