Eating (almost one month old)

I wanted to see if you all could tell me how much and how often was your baby eating of formula at around one month. Aiden will be one month on Tuesday ( hard to believe).

Also, do babies ever stop screaming at diaper changes, clothes changes, and baths? He screams bloody murder as he hates to be bothered.

Ruby was eating about 3-4 oz every 4 hours at a month old.

I can't really answer the other question because we haven't had that particular issue.  She LOVES her bath and is usually pretty agreeable about having her diaper & clothes changed.  I just talk to her the whole time and explain what I'm doing.  The only part she really hates is pulling her shirt or onesie over her head but even that is only anger.

Thanks for your response! Aiden is eating 4oz every four hours during the day and about 5 hours at night.

As soon as I am done changing him, his bath, or dressing him he immediately stops crying. After his bath he is so happy, he just hates his actual bath!!!

I can't answer re how much they eat at one month...it's been a hundred years since my son was one month old.

Re the screaming...just wait.  Soon Aiden will cry when he's poo-ed is diaper...then as soon as you take it off him and are cleaning him up...he'll be laughing and grinning because he's naked (I don't know if that's a 'boy thing' or just a baby thing, having only had a boy)...and he'll LOVE the bath and will laugh and kick water all over you.

seems like hes eating fine.. and yes... give it about another 2 weeks... jaylyn actually likes the water warmer then most... not hot of course.. but not "luke warm" like the rec

Guess I was afraid he was eating too much.

jayson ate like a sumo wrestler... jaylyn eats like a bird.. i struggle to get 20 oz into her for the day.. she only takes 3 bottles a day.. dont worry about them eating to much.. my grandma always told me "if they are hungry feed them.. if not dont.. and if they want more, give it to them".. from what ive read a baby cant over eat.. physically.. they will puke..

Anberlin breast fed every 2 to 3 hours but because it was breastfeeding Im not too sure how many oz she was eating.

Annie finally got over the cold and stopped screaming during diaper changes & baths. It should come in time. Good luck!

Amelia was eating 3-4 ounces every 3-4 hours at that point.

She HATED to be naked, diaper changes and baths. The Dr told me that's because she isn't warm and snuggly anymore. It stopped when she was about 6 weeks old and now she loves to be naked!

They stop screaming.  Sage hated to be naked or changed, now she LOVES it lol.  At that time she was eating 2-3 ounces every 2 hours.  We need to see some new pics of Aiden, he is so cute!!
