and for the last 2 months I have been wanting another baby.. I know it's way to earlier to want a baby. but I do.. before my surgery I had very abnormal and heavy periods.. after surgery and losing weight i had 3 steady periods....then in July I didn't have a period.. my GYN doc says I have PCOS.. I have taken several (at least 5) pregnancy tests since July.. they all say negative.. my doctor (family) even gave me one in her office.. it said negative.. so I don't think I am pregnant.. but I am curious.. has anyone ever had this happen.. if so.. what happened? Could I be pregnant and just not producing enough of the hormaone to register? Any suggestions.. anyone?

Chances are you aren't if all of the tests came back negative. If there is any question have your Dr run blood work. They can get the exact number of your HCG and will be able to tell instantly.

Good luck!

PS - you are wise to wait, I know it's hard but it is best for everyone involved!

I never had very many periods before surgery. After surgery I would be regular for a while, then miss a month or two. Once my weight stabilized, that was when the periods became normal. I think it is just because you are still in the loosing phase and have alot of body changes going on.

If you have been testing since July, you most likely are not pregnant.  I would hold out until at least a year.  I couldn't even imagine getting pregnant that early out, I could hardly eat anything.  Good luck
