Horrible Headache

I've been having trouble with my blood pressure, as most of you know........

I woke up this morning with a horrible headache....worse than any migraine I have ever had and I get bad migraines.  Yesterday, I went to my family doctor and my bp was low....95/59.  I haven't changed anything......so I called the doctor this morning.

The nurse called me back and told me to take two tylenol and lie down, hopefully I would start to feel the pain in my head would go away.  I was also to come into the office at 2:45 to have my bp checked and a NST.....

Anyone else had a headache, this late in pregnancy - I'm 39 weeks, with no other symptoms.....I have no contractions, no pain, not nauseated, my water hasn't broken....and my bp was good yesterday.

No idea, but I hope your BP hasn't gone all wonky again.  DH gets headaches when his bp goes up.  Good luck at the dr.

UPDATE -

Went to the dr......confirmed, that yep, I have a headache.  He isn't sure why it is so bad....bp was good, I wasn't swollen and baby was OK on the monitor.

He told me I needed to get some sleep and gave me compazine to help with the nausea.  He said this would make me sleep, too.

So, back to bed I go..........and I will return to the dr on Thursday.

I had a terrible terrible headache my last week of pregnancy.  It was actually a week and three days long.  Did not subside until the day before my daughter was born.  I also didn't have high BP and the NST they did turned out fine.  I just basically had to live with the thing until my kid came out.  It sucked--even Tylenol didn't help.

I hope that doesn't depress you, but I just wanted to let you know I was in your shoes and everything turned out fine.  Healthy baby, no more headache.  Just hang in there!

How are you feeling?? I get really bad headaches when I am dehydrated. How is your fluid intake?
