How do we carry??
Hey Kerri! I have wondered this myself!! I am noticing that I am popping out more on the top than bottom. However when my Ob went searching for the baby's heartbeat it was below my belly button! I did not ask her why I my top roll was looking bigger..however I was told by a friend that with baby growing and uterus stretching up..could be the organs that are being pushed up and thats why I would be popping out more on top. Just looks weird cause I have this big muffin top and its looking more round but different...like not forming a perfect round belly just kinda pushing out more like a bigger roll LOL. Praying someday it will look more like a baby bump...instead me looking like I am just getting fat again. Of course I have no idea how true that is with the organs making my top roll look bigger. I have no idea on the sex yet I will hopefully find out On Sept 21st what I am having.
I haven't had my baby yet. I'm 30 weeks. But, I know this baby is quite low. This is my first (and last), so I really have nothing to compare it to, but... It's a boy.
And as far as some of the other wives tales about boy vs girl, most of them were wrong for predicting the sex of my baby. i.e. Chinese birth chart, skin condition, linea nigra, etc.
Best wishes,
Kina

Well, it looks like I'm going to find out the sex LOL! It's so tempting and I guess there's no way to tell how we all carry over all. I've been heavily debating it, but I guess it's just something I'm going to have to do. I want to be prepared, but I was wanting to go the surprise way. My husband says regardless he's going to know whether I decide to find out or not :) I have to wait for another 7 weeks to have my next ultrasound, which will be at 20 weeks.
Thanks everyone for all the inputs!! :)

I had a lower body lift almost 2 years ago after my GBP. I am carrying my little one extremely low. So low she is practically in my pelvic bone area. I haven't really gained much weight...3-4 pounds so far and I'm 20 weeks. I think I have spread a little in the hips and thighs....but no one can tell I am pregnant. Most of my huband's co-workers and wives are afraid to ask me about the baby because I'm not showing and they automatically assume I had a MC. It is getting kinda frustrating.
We were told at 15 weeks it was a girl. At 18 weeks the baby had flipped and was laying sideways....and we weren't able to confirm the sex. And so I have to wait for another 2 weeks to try and confirm the sex again. So still waiting to see if they still say its a girl!
