Anybody TTC or pregnant and have trouble sleeping?

I have been having a lot of trouble falling asleep and staying asleep the entire night? What sort of meds have you taken that are ok to take while trying to TTC or pregnant?

Currently, I am under fertility treatment...this weekend we find out if we got lucky this 2nd round.

I have been having a lot of family stress in the past month or so and I have been having a lot of trouble having a good night's sleep.

I take Melatonin every now and again and it always helps.

I took tylenol PM or Simply Sleep which is benadryl and now I take Melatonin...Good Luck you are in our prayers for a sticky bean :)

Honestly,

I haven't taken anything. I have the worse insomnia too. I tend to stay up from anywhere around midnight to 5 am....and get a few hours of sleep. Sometimes I am so tired I go to bed around 9 and sleep until about 4:30-5ish.... and then I'm up for the rest of the day... I just don't get any sleep.

I'm glad my daughter finally started back to school because I would sometimes find myself falling asleep on the couch in the middle of the day....and she would wake me up....to play or turn on the tv...because she got bored. I'm a little nervous taking something.

Also, since my doctor is a Belgian doctor, we are military stationed in Belgium, he really doesn't know what I can take of the Amercian over the counter drugs.

So for now I remain.....sleepless in Belgium.

My RE suggested I try Unisom.. I stopped by Walgreens on the way home, took it a bit ago and just did a Sleepytime Tea... hopefully it will work.
