Morning Sickness suddenly gone
Is this a bad sign? I went to the doctor and he put me on bed rest. He said that the bleeding I was experiencing was a threatened miscarriage. BUT the baby's heart was beating and beating pretty strong.
The sore breasts and the morning sickness simply disappeared yesterday. I am at week 7. Is this normal or ok? The doctor is testing me every 3 days to monitor my hcg levels.

I stopped getting sick at around 8 weeks but I had the nauseaus feelings for a while after that in certain situations. (my breasts stayed tender the whole pregnancy though) I hear a lot that everyone can be a little different so if you're concerned call your doctor. I'll keep you in my prayers.

Trying not to be the negative one----but I had problems with my fist pregnancy after RNY....I had some brown spotting (like 5 streaks), my breasts were not as sore, I felt less bloated, and my Dr was doing the same thing...kind of keeping me hostage to know the details. The lesson I learned is that I would never again allow my Dr to control what I knew or how much I understood about something. His JOB was to tell me when he knew what was happening, not to string me along. Needless to say- I had new doctors set-up and used them for my pregnancies that followed. I never had issues with my other group of Dr's they were completely reassuring and supportive....they wanted me to feel like I matter, and my baby mattered. I HATED that other group. (OH- and yes- I did loose my first baby-which I partly blame on their poor care- because they were so worried about doing all of these u/s they didn't do my initial blood work....turns out to sustain a pregnancy I NEED progesterone supplements. Hence my two health lil girls after I left that practice and I was treated with respect). HUGS- hang in there, get your results, and consider changing Dr's if they are not meeting all of your needs (physical and emotional).
I could not say that it is a bad sign or not..but I am 13 weeks pregnant and my breasts were sore about every other day..and now they are not sore anymore. I still have morning sickness tho and that did not start for me til week 7 and my Ob said morning sickness actually peaks at week 11. And should go away about 13 to 14 weeks along..sumtimes not at all. I think it depends on who you are and how your body will react to the pregnancy. Everyone is different. Well i am not a Dr..but not all bleeding means a threatened miscarriage because...Now in my pregnancy book I have it says..some women can spot through your whole pregnancy or even have a normal period every month too. He may say that because its possible it could happen. I would not worry to much until you get your results and stay positive. And just because morning sickness disappeared..does not mean it will not come back..TRUST ME..LOL. There are days I am fine all day long and next day I get sick..its been like that for me..I had about 3 weeks of getting sick about everyday. Which was about week 9 to week 12. About when my Ob told me is the worst for most women. But before that it was like every other day sickness and now it depends on what I eat and if I am going to like it or not..ill instantly gag and puke it back up. Believe me its not fun...the joys of pregnancy. Ill keep you in my prayers and best of luck to ya!! Stay POSITIVE.
I had days early in pregnancy where my symptoms seemed to go away then they would come back in a day or 2. It made me CRAZY b/c I had 2 miscarriages before. I hope all is well. I think it's a good sign that the hb was good. Good luck hon!
Mommy to 2 of the most beauiful little girls in the whole universe and still in love with my hubby of 8 years. LIFE IS GOOD!
