FRIDAY TTC POST (how are my ladies makin babies?)

Hi girls!! We have a lot going on this week. I really want to see at least 2 BFP in the next week or so!! How is everyone feeling?? How about those mega emotions?? There were times when the only place I could vent while ttc was here to you girls...so let it out! I am the proverbial shoulder. Here are some personals to those that posted last week. Caley ~ Hmmm... about o time right? Happy BD to you!

Eleni~ Are you hanging in there hon? Any sign of AF? Have you been tested for pcos?? There is a drug called metformin that can totally help regulate your cycles...maybe you could ask your doctor.

Leslie~ 2ww fo r you. I bd 5 days prior to conceiving Micah...so keeping fingers crossed for you!

Cristin ~ How did the surgery go?? Also...do you want me to add you to the list? What are your stats?

Some common terms:

TTC - trying to conceive
BFP - big fat positive (positive pregnancy test)
BFN - big fat negative (negative pregnancy test)
CD - the day of your menstrual cycle
O - ovulation
DPO - days past ovulation
LP - luteal phase (time from ovulation to period)
AF - aunt flow ( your period)
PG - pregnant/pregnancy
MC - misscarriage
RE - reproductive endocrinologist
OPK - ovulation prediction kit
CL - coverline ( for those taking their temps to confirm ovulation)
Met - metformin or glucophage ( a diabetes medication sometimes taken to help hormone levels and ovulation)
BD - baby dancing ( having timed intercourse)
DTD - doing the deed
IUI - inter uterine insemination
IVF - in vitro fertilization
PCOS - polycystic ovarian syndrome
POAS - pee on a stick (taking a pregnancy test)
2WW - two week wait...time from ovulation until you can test for pg

 Hey there! Not sure exactly where I am in my cycle.... gosh this is depressing!! Ive been trying to figure out my cervix position but I'm temping and so far i have no Oed-- I've had watery but never EW so who knows.... doc wants me to give blood on tuesday to check to see if ive Oed yet... 

I need to relax... i'm just so ready to be a mommie!!

well my 2WW is almost over and ive had some signs, but they could also be AF signs  how frustrating. i noticed that my name isnt on the list, you forgot me ,lol.
any way im taking the home test next monday or tuesday if AF hasnt arrived and if thats a BFN and still no sign of AF by thursay then im off to the doc's for a blood test. not waiting around to long, the suspence is killing me .

I would like to be added to the list again. I just went off birth control about 2 weeks ago and we are going to let nature take its course for now now temping. I dont think that I could get very reliable numbers with my 9 month old anyway, lol. So lets see I am TTC #2 as of 8/2010.

Yes, I should be O'ing beginning today, so we will be busy BD'ing(LOL)...I have never done temping or anything like that because I usually know when I'm O'ing so let's pray it works this time...I know it's in God's hands :-)  Best wishes to everyone else ttc!!

No luck for me this cycle.  CD 4 for me.  Start Clomid again tomorrow.  I have this cycle and one more of clomid; if not pg then we move on to something else.  Hoping it doesn't come to that.....Hope someone got their BFP this week!!

Well hey this is the TTC message board, along with TMI board, right....

I tested again Thursday or Friday since nothing was happening. Got another -. Yesterday I started spotting brown. I use Instead Cups until AF is full blown right. Well today when I woke up to change it out it wasn't brown any longer the color actually seemed kinda weird. It almost looked like fake blood. So I guess this is CD1 after a LOOONG  65 day cycle *sigh*

I'm now on CD63, which puts me at 31 days late. No signs at all of AF coming. I was tested for PCOS pre-op, the doc said that it's very unlikely. She told me to come back and see her if no AF by Sept. 30th. I guess we'll have to keep trying to BD anyway. Lost my patience a few weeks ago...
