2 week check up

Well, Aiden and I had out two week check up. He is not a good sleeper at all! He has days and nights mixed up. But, I am hopeful he will do better the older he gets.

My incision us healing well. The doctor said it is a beautiful incision. All the nurses that checked it in the hospital said the same thing. I am not going to be flaunting my incision so I guess it is for me to know it is pretty.

The iPhone only let me type a little bit so here is the rest...

I have lost 25 of the 35 I gained during pregnancy. I have a lot of swelling in stomach and legs/feet. The doctor thinks I will loose 20 more pounds once the fluid is gone.

Aiden now weighs 7 pounds 5 ounces and us 21.25 inches long. He grew 1.25 inches in two weeks - he will be tall!!

Yay for good check-ups!   Boo for sleep issues and swelling.

Glad you're both doing well - even if you won't show the world you 'beautiful' incision.' LOL 

Hopefully as time passes Aiden will get with the program and realize the right time to sleep.  In the meantime...remember to sleep when he sleeps during the day so you don't get too worn out yourself. 

How's the bf issues coming along?  Any improvements?

Breast feeding isn't going to happen. I took funegruk (however you spell it) and mothers milk. I still have not one drop!!!

I saw my doctor this week for two week check up and she said I have done everything. She feels I just not producing. I never had let down, engorgement, etc.

So glad to hear everything is going well. He will get the sleep thing down. Hang in there momma.
