Insurance companies are so aggravating!!!!!

I just got off the phone with the prescription insurance company... it's so irritating dealing with them.  My last dosage of Ovidrel was doubled and insurance didn't pay for the second one that I paid out of pocket. (Had to get it on the weekend for Monday)  I was on the phone for like 1/2 hour at least dealing with stupid people.

Please someone explain to me how the heck I am supposed to know when exactly I need the medications when these drugs are dependent on when I get my cycle and when they do ultrasound on me, then they give me the medication.. what if when I got my period was a weekend on Saturday and I get my ultrasound on Sunday, I need to start taking Femara on day 3 which would be Monday evening.. but the specialty pharmacy is closed on the weekend and they don't mail out prescriptions overnight over the weekend.  

According to the lady on the specialty pharmacy, they will need to have the prescription ahead of time so that they can mail it to me overnight.  They only cover the medications twice when I get it through a local pharmacy, after that I have to get it through their mail order pharmacy which will deliver overnight!

I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO frustrated.... I pray to God and all the angels that hopefully this cycle is the one....because between the emotional rollercoaster ride about this treatment and the idiots insensitive people at the prescription plan place, how could I ever be relaxed??!!!!

What if like I need the injection on the weekend and the dr duplicates my dosage again, I am royally messed up because I won't be able to get it on time..

I can't say to my body "hello, hold on... the medication is on the way..hold for another day hormones".

Tomorrow I am calling my nurse at my doctor's office and explain to her that the only way that I can get the medication to be covered under my insurance is by getting it in advance from the mail order specialty pharmacy and to please duplicate my prescription just in case I need a duplicate like this time.  I hope she understands.... and she will fax the prescription like that.

See?? another issue I shouldn't have to worry about.... why the hack to we pay for insurance if we have to go through this??????!!!!!!!!!!!

Just keep thinking about why your doing all of this and know that all this frustration is going to make you a mommy . I am sending baby prayers your way!!!!!
