Ultrasound Update or not?

Well I got to speak with my OB about my results.  No very reassuring I tell you.  Apparently there is some discrepancy in my dates.  Things were apparently too small (they did a transvaginal u/s) and they weren't sure if they could see a HB or not.  WTH is with that?  SO what it boils down to is that they automatically scheduled me in at a different location for next Wed the 25th in the pm for another viability scan.  I am so upset.  My LMP was the 14th of June, I "O"ed the 5th of July according to FF, got my first faint BFP on the 18th of July, SO HOW CAN MY DATES BE WRONG???  When I punch in my "O" date I get a EDD of March 29th.  I am so upset I could just sit here and cry.  I need prayers Ladies, I so much want this to be a viable pregnancy.  I need answers, I am just hoping the tech I had Tuesday was imcompetent.  I have had Transvag u/s before and this one was so different.  With previous ones I can feel the prob rolling accross my cervix, did not feel that this time, and usually when they check the ovaries, they always have to push down on my right front side for my right ovary because it hides.  She never did any of this.   Ahhhhh!!!  I am so freaking mad.  I am trying to calm myself , but easier said than done.  Anyone else have issues like mine and everything turn out ok?  I am so afraid of this being another blighted ovum or worse a non viable embryo.  Can them not shoving  (sorry for the pun) the prob far enough in give inaccurate images?

I'm really sorry that they're putting you through this torture! My girlfriend is going through the SAME thing at this very moment. She's had 4 MC's over the last year and she's praying to God that they can find the "fetal pole" because she's only 5 weeks along.

This is very hard to go through, if you ever need to talk, please let me know. I'd like to tell you my story to give you some hope. I have had a blighted ovum and 4 miscarriages in the past year. I found out I was pregnant in July, and of course I was nervous, lmp 6/8. I had an ultrasound on 7/26 and measured 6 weeks 3 days, but no hb. Going by regular cycles(mine are not), I should have been 7 weeks. I was a wreck, the nurse told me there should have been a hb by now, she said it didn't look good and gave me miscarriage info. They rescheduled me for 10 days later, and lo and behold a hb. I measured 8 weeks 2 days. Weird, since I should have measured 7 weeks 4 days. Anyways, to get to the point, I don't think some u/s machines are that great. I don't know how I would of measured so much different in just 10 days. I go to my regular ob for an u/s on 9/7, still on pins and needles. Good luck to you, and I hope you see that beautiful hb at your next appt. I'll pray for you!

Last August I thought I was 7 weeks along.  I went to the ER for bleeding and they couldn't see a thing, not even a sack.  Come to find out I was only 4 weeks at the time.  3 weeks later there was a heartbeat!  Don't give up yet!

It is just so frustrating.  I guess it really depends on when you really release the egg, I had bad o pains on the 5th of july, so thats when I assumed the egg took flight, and of course how quickly it gets to the uterus and implants.

Hang in there. I am pulling for you.

You know..my dates would be the same as yours except when they did my HCG levels they were low at first..they think that I ovulated 2 weeks later than the "norm". I used to go by fertility friend, but keep in mind that is for the "perfect" times...everyone is different. They think I am only 7 weeks this week based on teh late ovulation. My ultrasound was scheduled for last week but they decided to wait a week just for the reason that you posted..they said if you do it too early, even though they tell the moms they may not see the heartbeat, they still get all nerved up..so it is possible that you are just earlier than the "dates" and all the calculators show...!! Keep smiling.!!

I am really hoping you just implanted late since you got a very faint bfp on what 15dpo?? I am praying hard hon. Keep me posted! Shari
