Prenatal Vitamin & RNY????

Please help. I was given PRENATE w/ DHA (??) as a prenatal vitamin and I am currently 6 weeks pregnant as of today. This is a large blue and green pill with a coating..

Anyone else take this or does anyone know if gastric patience can disolve it?? Not to be gross but I haven't passed it yet....... I know.. ewwwwwwwwww right!

I can take HUGE pills, and as long as I drink plenty of water I am fine. Actually, since I have been on prenatal vits my numbers have never been better, and those pills are the size of a small Honda.

Hey there! I'm on Prenate Essential with DHA as well. I've been on it for about a month now and have had no problems with the vitamin what so ever. My Nurse Practicioner was a post-op gastric patient and she said the vitamins were excellent even for us. I tried them for 10 days as a trial and now I'm almost half way through my first box of 30. Hope that gives you some relief! They're rather big yes and a little tough for me to swallow, but I haven't had any problems with them :)

I am taking Prenate DHA - the giant size blue pills and have no issues taking them.  I just hope my body is absorbing them properly.  I also take my B1, B12 daily.  I added an extra iron pill 3 times a week and a super B complex wiuth more folic acid on top of that... just in case!  Good luck!
