Some things just are not fair.

I have a good friend from high school and elementary school.  I recently found her on facebook and we were chatting because she JUST found out she was pregnant at 26 weeks.  She found out that day that she was having a girl who she names Alexa.

Last week, on August 8th she was 35.5 weeks pregnant and went into the hospital having a lot of contractions.  We just heard from her today.  She got to the hospital little Alexa had passed away.  She opted for a c-section to deliver her, where they found she had a placenta abruption which is why the baby died.  She ended up losing so much blood she was sedated for a day.  When she woke up a day later she realized what happened.

I CANNOT imagine what she is going through.  We have been talking and she has such a positive attitude.  I do not know how someone could move on from this.  I don't know how I could go on...

Please pray for my friend Lisa and baby Alexa.  Ever since I found out I can't think about anything else.  I am counting my blessing right now hold my daughter.

That is awful...so sorry to hear that. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

It's certainly not fair.  I have been through it... and she will probably go through all the emotions before she goes back to normal.  Just be there for her however you can.  Just listen if she wants to talk.  If she wants, refer her to www.compassionatefriends.org  they are a support group for people who have lost children at any stage in life. 

I will keep her in my prayers.

I understand where your coming from in that I would never understand how she can go on.  I will pray for both of you...hold on to your little one, and count your blessings.

May god bless her and hold her daughter tight at his side.

I will be saying a prayer for the family. That is my worst nightmare. I can't even imagine.

Awe that is awful. I dont think I could move on either, but I am a firm believer that God dosent give us more than we can handle, so she must be a really stron person, as your post seems to show. Your friend is in my prayers. :(
