How do you relax and get in a better mood...

I am currently under treatment to get pregnant and this pm I feel relaxed but sort of unmotivated to do anything... (not that I REALLY need to do anything)...

Just feeling blah... what do you do when you feel sort of down? How do you keep yourself feeling more upbeat?

Part of it is that the weekend is coming to a close and I am soooo overdue for a vacation.  I will be on vacation on another 3 weeks.. just staying local..since we live in the Orlando area.. we are just going to get the pass to the parks which we haven't been in years!!!! Ironic how that happens.

I treat myself to a "me" night. Get a good magazine, hot bath, good tunes going, and maybe paint my nails if I'm really feeling motivated. Then, lay in bed and doze off to my fav. show or movie with the TV on a timer. THAT is how I relax. 

(And make sure any children are tucked away or locked out!)

Sorry this is a little late- I have been crazy busy and just getting on. TTC is really stressful. I guess it just depends a little on what you like to do. Sitting and doing nothing is OK too. Heck, call in sick one day and lie around! Sounds like everything is so overwhelming for you. I had to undergo fertility treatments for both of my pregnancies too. It's funny, but this second time around, last fall, I went ahead and started the meds, we did the first round of IUI, and I remember telling one of my close friends that I was probably not going to try again for a few months if it didn't take because of all the stress. It took three tries with my first pg to get things to stick, but, lo and behold I turned up pregnant that cycle with twins. Maybe it could be a good sign? Well, I like to do a couple of different things. Since I already have one daughter, I would get a sitter and just go out shopping by myself, or even running errands with a few fun stops along the way- spending money always makes me feel better. Or reading a new book, or seeing a movie I have wanted to see for a while. Just a few of my boring examples, but helpful for me. Good luck with the treatment! Keeping my fingers crossed...
