I need help!!!!!!!!!!

Hey everyone, I am 26 weeks pregnant and I am looking for some help. I have recently been diagnosed with hyperemesis, I thorw up constantly and become severly dehydrated and lose weight. My band has been completely deflated since sometime in June because I would throw up. I am wondering if anyone has had this issue or if anyone has had problems with the band slipping and not allowing food or liquids to pass even though it's empty. My doctors all say that it has nothing to do with the band and that this happens to people but I am looking for people out there who may have some advise for me, I am sick and tired and weak fro meverything. It has been 26 weeks of vomiting and I am at my end. thank you for any help I can get.  I had the band placed Aug of 2008 and have lost 130 lbs with it since being pregnant I am down another 13 lbs.

ps I take Zofran every 8 hours, Reglan every 8, compazine every 12, it helps get rid of the nausea but I still vomit.

I don't have any experience with the band or the condition you are referring to.  I just want to wish you to feel better soon..hopefully someone might give you some advice.

UGH!!! I feel for ya! I only had it from week 6 to 12. Had low grade nausia from conception to week 6. Zofran was my friend but it still didn't take it away totally either. I was out of work about 2 days a week I was so sick. Good luck with feeling better. *hugs*

It is possible for an empty band to slip and for obstruction to happen. But if you getting things down, they just won't STAY down, it probably isn't your band.
Hyperemesis does happen, I had a friend who has to be hospitalized for it during both of her pregnancies.
Are you able to keep liquids down at all?
