It will start feeling more "real" to you when you're feeling baby move or when you do finally get that 'belly'. Go buy you a cute maternity outfit and sport it like you were 7 months pregnant and had a baby belly. That's what I did (and HAD to do) cuz I didn't really feel pregnant (besides the God awful morning sickness). I went to Motherhood Maternity, bought some maternity pants and some shirts and sported an outfit out of the store! lol And I pooched my little 20 week belly out of there like I was 9 months pregnant....lol But it made me feel good and made me feel more pregnant. It was good for my psychy (sp?). I've had 5 children and Kenzie was my 1st post-op baby so I know what you mean about being obese and already having a 'belly'. Even when I delivered her I was pretty small and didn't have so much of a belly. But at least I felt pregnant by then! lol

Mandy, I did have the morning sickness that lasted all day long, Just now it is gone, there are just no more signs other than the sore breast. I know all is well though. I had to go to the ER tonight due to a very sore throat and bumps on my throat. It was so bad I could barely swallow. The ER DR decided to do a real quick Ultra sound due to my OB requesting it (wanted to make sure the illness did not effect the baby). Needless to say, LO looked great and heartbeat was nice and strong! It was so cute it looked like it was rubbing its head! So cute! The throat on the other hand, I guess they are treating me with the Z-pack to get rid of it. I have been craving bread so much (and eating it) that I cause thrush! So now I have to stay away from the breads

I've never been pregnant so I can't give any personal accounts.  But I know 2 of my friends said they never felt pregnant until they were just a couple of months away from delivering.  Neither one of them ever had morning sickness or tiredness.  One of them said she felt better pregnant than she did not pregnant!  I'm sure your weight loss too has played a part.  You are healtheir now and your body can cope with the changes so much better.  Don't worry!

Hello! I am 12 weeks pregnant today!!! I have had morning sickness like horrible and breast tenderness and well now both are gone. I do not feel so much sore anymore in my boobs..just sometimes. I do not feel pregnant at all either..and at least you have seen your baby and that..I have not had an Ultrasound or heard the heartbeat yet..so it does seem unreal to me right now. Until I see the baby inside me I think is when I will be like Wow I really am pregnant.

With the exception of the kicking and the pulling feeling I get when I roll over, I haven't felt very pregnant, even now. I have to be reminded to take care of myself and my baby because I keep trying to do everything I used to do. :P

I don't feel pregnant either so you are definitely not alone.  Everyone just keeps telling me how everyone and every pregnancy is different.  Count your blessings and keep on going.
