17 DPO
Just wondering if anyone got a BFP after 17DPO? I am always regular with my cycles since my RNY 17 months ago and was due for AF on the 10th, but there is no sign of her and I have been experiencing some pregnancy symptoms. I have taken two HPTs one on 11th and one this morning and both were BFN...if I am preggo, it would have happened on the 29th, 30th or the 31st of July..just wondering if there is a possibility I don't have enough HCG for the test to pick up yet?
With this pregnancy and my miscarriage, I tested the day before I should have started. Both times was negative. I had blood drawn to find out both times. Both were the day after I should have started. I know I finally took a test at like 6 weeks with this one and got a BFP. I know someone that said she was 6 months pregnant with both her kids and couldn't get a BFP on a home test.
I shall now be know as Hagatha: Queen of the queens.

Just something to consider....which HPT are you using?
I actually found an article on line that showed that some tests have a stronger sensitivity to HCG than others.
For example, the dollar store ones will not pick up until 6-8+ weeks.
But the walmart brand and stuff have a better sensitivity.
I used one and we conceived on the 12th and found out the 22nd. It was faint and you had to let it sit a little bit...but it was there.
Good luck!!!
Not promoting anything, but here is a website that will help you pick a HPT that might help :-)

I tested when I was a day or two late. Got a VERY faint positive line on a dollar tree test. I kept testing about every day or every other day. The line gradually got darker and darker, until I couldn't deny it anymore!!
Best wishes!!
