When switching to cow's milk from formula.....
Anyone have a child allergic to cow's milk/protein? I think that is happening with Vannah. What were your child's symptoms?? I keep chalking it up to teething but the projectile vomiting today has me wondering. She was transitioning from Similac Go and Grow (blue can) to Cow's Milk 2%. She has has a clear runny nose, been whiny, gassy, and now vomiting. No fever.
My baby was diagnosed with cow's milk protein allergery at 4 weeks and I had to carry an epipen. She could not have anything including regular cow's milk based formula. Try finding baby foods or cereals that don't have any milk products in them.
Did you introduce the milk gradually? Perhaps try 1oz milk to 7 oz formula for a couple of days and work your way up?

If she was on a milk based formula before, it is kind of unlikely. You could try switching to lactaid for a few days or back to the old formula and see if it clears up. Why are you giving her 2%? Babies usually go on to whole milk first.

My son was no allergic to dairy but when we went to milk at 1 year he had loose stools, rashes and a cough. I put him back on the go and grow formula till 18 months and then I reintroduced slowly by mixing the formula and milk and he did fine. It may be that she just has a flu or cold and the timing seems like it could be the milk, try putting her back on the formula for a bit and see if the symptoms go away and then try again but mix them and do it slowly over a week or so. Hope she feels better soon :)
