Cervix Check - Bleeding

When you had cervix checks, did you have darker bleeding and/or any tissue? I have had my cervix checked weekly by my OB the last few weeks. The last two weeks I had cervix check I have dark blood when I wipe for 1-2 days. Thursdy at L&D Triage I had it checked twice due to active labor. I got to a 2cm and stopped. Well yesterday all day it was dark blood with little bits of tissue mixed in. Just wondering this is normal? I am guessing it is.

For me in the last couple of weeks of my pregnancy with Max that did happen at checks. I didn't have checks with Sydnee since it was a scheduled c-section.

My OB said it was normal because at this stage the cervix is irritated already and checks bother it even more. But like always it is the safest to call and talk with a nurse or your OB.

Yah toward the end I was at L and D a couple times and checked several times. I bleed after that until I was ready to go.
