Favorite disposable diapers? How many?
Hayvann uses huggies. Always used them with my boys too and loved them. SO far
I have also been buying the walmart brand now that she is older and it has been just fine for her. We changed her every 3-4 hours when she was a newborn so 10-12 a day sometimes. Its all different with each baby and your personal preferance. SO get a few of each which is what I did too and tried them all.

I don't have any kids yet, but I work in an infant room so I have experience with most brands! The Pampers Swaddlers are the best I've worked with. Also LOVE the Kirkland and Target brands also! I find that I pull the tabs off of the Huggies very easily. Luvs have a weird scent to them that I don't enjoy, but they work well! Good luck!!!
Hi there ...
Every baby is soo different. We used Papmers Swaddlers til our baby was about 8lbs and then she started to pee through them. Since then, I have tried everything, and she is allergic to all of them except Target's Up and Up brand. So, I guess what I am saying is that if you do decide to stock up, save your reciepts .Diaper rash is fast and furious!

We are a Huggies family. I think it's hard to know how many to buy since you don't know how big the baby will be. We had a ton of newborn size, and ended up with a tiny little guy and had to use preemie. He was in newborn for a long time, but I had siblings who were bigger babies and moved to size 1 pretty quickly.
Good luck!
Good luck!
My baby's butt's pretty good with most. I usually go between Huggies and Pampers though, but mostly because I buy them using coupons when they go on sale. I agree with person before when they indicated see what your per diaper cost is. Recently, with a coupon and a Food Lion sale I got Huggies for 0.10 per diaper! I was excited and I bought 5 jumbo packs (that's how many I had coupons for). I like this brand. I will say one positive about the pampers that I like are they are thin but absorb nicely. They fit under her bathing suite well. I know you didn't really ask but wipes I do have a preference of Huggies. Nice and thick and I like that. Also, as far as how many. My baby doesn't poop but every 3-7 days (more towards three now) so I don't think I am a great judge, but at day care they change her five time a day in about 10 hours. At home I would say we use 3-5 before and after daycare. So on most days 8-10. Only caution I would take on stock piling is sizes. I went to 1s but wouldn't have had to in some brands (that's the other tricky part-different brands fit different). I would see how big your lil one is, most newborns go to 8-10 pounds....
Good luck!

I've used just about everykind of diaper, my favorites are Luvs and walmart brand. I like the target brand too but not as much. In the beginning I used the NB ones with the umbillical cord piece cut out, then I moved to other brands.

Kina, my advice is not to buy too many newborn diapers until your baby is born. If your baby is over 8 pounds or so, he might not even need newborn diapers after a week or so. My daughter was 8 pounds 6 ounces at birth and needed only one pack of NB diapers and those were getting snug by the time they ran out. Buy a few packs of size 1s, though. Pampers Swaddlers makes a nice size 1-2 that fits for quite a white. I'd buy a couple brands (use coupons with sales if possible) and see what you like and what works.
With my daughter and daycare I had, I found that Pampers/Luvs work best. I found them to be very similar. Huggies are longer and narrower, Pampers are wider. Luvs are usually a few dollars less a pack.
I am talking about the regular Pampers baby dri though, not anything from their newer lines. Also. Huggies overnights are a lifesaver once your baby starts sleeping through the night. And the newborn sizes are good until the umbilical cord falls off, but after then its a better $ deal to just use size 1. Newborn sizes are (strangely) more expensive and won't fit long if you have an 8+ lb baby.
