Favorite disposable diapers? How many?
I keep seeing coupons and sale ads for diapers and think maybe I should start stocking up. Those of you with experience, (this is my first) what is/was your favorite brands? And how many diapers a day would a newborn go through?
By the way, I am going with disposables...
Thanks in advance.

Kina - I liked the huggies newborn diapers with the cut out for the umbilical stump. Made diaper changes easy, especially for hubby. Once the stump fell off I went with huggies or pampers. I wasn't happy with the Luvs. Now she is in a size 1 I go with the Target brand, huggies or pampers.
As far as how many, newborns poop a lot! lol I would say 8-10 diapers a day, you will change the baby everytime you feed tem and sometimes in between. Some days I swear we go through 20 diapers!

a newborn probably goes through 6-8 diapers a day? I prefer the pampers for newborn sizes because they have the wetness indicator. I pretty much only use Huggies with the occassional Pampers thrown in.
When pricing out diapers.. make sure to always take the cost of the diaper divided by the qty. I believe 15 cents or less is a good deal. Currently, the local grocery store near me has the Club size box of Huggies on sale (size 3, qty 168) for $19.99! That is an INCREDIBLE deal. $15 off!

Initially we went with Pampers Swaddlers and did well with those.
However, friends/family gave us the Huggies and also Kirkland's brand from Costco and I liked them both.
We later swtiched to Huggies LIttle Mover's once my son hit a size 3 and I really like them.
We have tried Luvs and they are okay but not my favorite.
Overall, I would say Huggies have been my fav but I know others have tried store brands with lots of success.
As far as how many, it all depends...some days you have to do changes ever hour or 2, others not so much. It can sometimes be as many as 10 a day!

when jayson was little i used pampers swaddlers.. then cruisers.... hated huggies on him.. when jaylyn was a newborn i used huggies on her and hated pampers on her... now we use the target brand ( by far my fav) on both of them.. and half the price.. honestly your best bet will be buying gift cards .. your babys butt may not like huggies... pampers.. luvs.. and whatever you stocked up on will be a waste...
