well that depends what you want done. In our hospital someone came around and took them. We did our own at home then. I am sure that there are places that come to the house too. I certainly didn't feel like going anywhere the first few weeks after delivery. Infact it was 2 weeks before I left the house and that was only because my Grandmother died.
We had them come to our home 5 days after he was born as well and you'll find many studios willing to do that now. The "Picture People" in my area offers that and they bring props, backdrops etc. with them. After that my husband bless his heart kept the camera in his face every minute of the day. I say the first month of life we had about 325 shots of Tyler.. Good luck sweetie and have fun because capturing the early moments of life is the most exciting and heart felt.

we had some done at the hosptial she was a day old....
we had a session done at JC Penny's (I had a coupon) she was 4 weeks old
then we are having a "real" session (professional photographer) tomorrow....
I wanted to wait till her umbilical stump fell off....it just looks gross to me. (im not one of those mom's that keeps it either...just weird to me...)

Traci....?! Did I miss the big announcement? Is your little one here yet or are you just planning ahead? I've been 'out' in London most of the last week and only able to pop in for a few minutes here and there...Let me know if I missed the birth story or if you're still waiting...last I heard, Samara had posted that the drs were doing tests to see if you had pre-eclampsia?!
