My son was 2 when I got pregnant with # 2 , by the time my 2nd son was born my first son was 3. It was great because he was a big help and when I was nursing or spending time with the baby ( or napping, LOL), my first son was easy to entertain! I would give him a snack and juice, put on a movie and he was fine! I could take 30 minute snooze, or take a shower, etc. It was not so bad. If I was busy , my 3 year old would tell me when the baby was crying, and even tried to help. Now my 2nd son just turned 3 and we are pregnant again. So they will all be 3 years apart. I think it is perfect.  My oldest is in school, and so it is just me and my youngest at home until March when the baby arrives, and by this time next year he will be starting school and it will be just me and baby!

My daughter turned 2 right before my son was born, and she was such a good helper! She always wanted to help. Now I am pregnant again, and my son is 2, he is really trying us! Could be that he is a boy, not to sure though, he tries to get into EVERYTHING, and I have to keep a constant eye on him! I am sure hoping that he will outgrow this stage before the new baby gets here!

My son is a little over 3 now and I will be induced with this little guy tomorrow or Wednesday. Up till today, my son has been really excited, then suddenly tonight he told me he "doesn't want his baby brother" over and over. I couldn't get him off it. The last few days he's been acting up a lot too, which is very unusual for him. I think for every kid there is some kind of transition, just depends on how severe.

I have had great experiences.  I am 7 months pregnant and my babies are 19 months and 3 years.  My big kids are 5, 5.75 and 6.5.

God Bless! Jen

My son turns 2 this week and my other son turns 4 months old as well, and we are thinking about trying to conceive again starting this month. I figured if your going to do it, might as well do it all at once I mean you're already changing diapers, making bottles, and lugging carseats, you're already in the habbit of it! haha However, I am looking forward to this next year as I'm hoping that my oldest son will be grown enough to be a little more of a help. He's certainly a handful right now but he keeps us on our toes Good luck!
